Access to the dent:
Depends on the position where your dent is. Some places may be hard to reach and thus may cost more than others.
Aluminum panels:
Sheet metal and aluminum works differently. Sometimes aluminum is very hard to work on as it doesn't have a restoring memory. Aluminum can still be repaired by PDR but there is an additional charge for working on those panels. You can check if your panel is aluminum or not with a magnet, which will not stick to aluminum.
The depth of the dent:
A deeper dent will obviously cost you more than a shallow one due to the complexity of the repair.
Creases and body lines:
Not all dents can be treated the same. Creases and dents on body lines are much more complex to work, therefore taking more time and increasing the cost.
Bumper repair:
Dent Away can usually repair dents in plastic bumpers as long as there are no holes or cracks in the bumper. Cost will vary depending on damage.
If your panel has been hit too hard or the impact has damaged the paint, a 100% repair is not possible. Our technician will determine this for you and will let you know the best course of action.
